Trucks for Sale in Uzbekistan: Mercedes-Benz, MAN, IVECO & More

Looking for reliable trucks for sale in Uzbekistan? You might run an international haulage company in Tashkent, supply a gold or copper mine in the Navoi or Tashkent region, or need refrigerated trucks for fruit from the Fergana Valley and Samarkand. In each case, Schaften Automotive is your European partner for trucks, commercial vehicles and complete fleet solutions. From our headquarters in the Netherlands, we supply Mercedes-Benz, MAN, IVECO, Scania and other leading European brands to customers throughout Uzbekistan, from Tashkent and Samarkand to Bukhara, Navoi, Fergana, Namangan and Termez. We arrange everything from A to Z, so you receive a truck that is ready for work.

More Than a Supplier: Your Sparring Partner from A to Z

Buying a truck for Uzbekistan involves more than choosing a brand. Summers are hot and dry, with temperatures above 40°C, while winters can bring frost and snow. The Kamchik Pass between Tashkent and the Fergana Valley rises above 2,000 metres, and the deserts of Karakalpakstan and the Kyzylkum bring sand and dust. Uzbekistan also has its own technical and environmental requirements for imported vehicles. The axle configuration, engine, emission class, cooling, filtration, body and paperwork all make the difference. That is why we start by understanding your operation: what you transport, which routes you drive and how intensively your vehicles are used. Based on that, we advise you on the configuration that gives you the best value over the long term.

Once you have made your choice, we take care of the rest. That includes custom bodybuilding, technical modifications, export documentation, export compliance checks and transport to Uzbekistan. You have one point of contact for the entire process, so you can focus on your business while we handle the details. Our stock of European A-brand trucks changes continuously, which means we can often offer short lead times.

Which Trucks Does Uzbekistan Need? Solutions per Sector

Uzbekistan has the largest population in Central Asia and one of the fastest growing economies in the region. Mining, construction, logistics, agriculture and energy all create strong demand for commercial vehicles. Below you'll find the truck types our customers in Uzbekistan ask for most often.

Mining and Metals: Gold, Copper and Uranium

Uzbekistan is one of the world's major gold producers. The Muruntau mine in the Navoi region is among the largest open-pit gold mines in the world, and the Almalyk mining and metallurgical complex in the Tashkent region is expanding its copper and gold production. Mining operations need heavy 8x4 and 6x4 tippers such as the Mercedes-Benz Arocs, MAN TGS and IVECO X-Way or T-Way. They also need water bowsers, fuel trucks, crane trucks and mobile workshop vehicles. For exploration sites in the desert, we supply all-wheel-drive trucks such as the Mercedes-Benz Zetros.

Construction and Infrastructure: Tashkent and the Regions

Large-scale housing programmes, new business districts in Tashkent, industrial zones, roads and bridges create strong demand for construction vehicles. Growing cement and building materials production adds further demand for heavy transport. These projects need 8x4 and 6x4 tippers, concrete mixers, bulk cement tankers, low-loaders for excavators and wheel loaders, and truck-mounted cranes. We configure these vehicles for intensive use in summer heat, winter cold and on mountain routes.

Logistics and International Transport: Corridors to Europe, China and South Asia

As a double landlocked country, Uzbekistan depends heavily on road transport. Uzbek hauliers drive international routes to Kazakhstan, Turkey, the Caucasus and China, and Termez is a gateway to Afghanistan and South Asia. These long routes call for reliable tractor units with good fuel economy, a modern emission class and comfortable cabins for long trips. Examples include the Scania R-series, MAN TGX, Mercedes-Benz Actros and IVECO S-Way. For urban distribution in Tashkent, Samarkand and other cities, we supply medium-duty trucks such as the IVECO Eurocargo, MAN TGM and Mercedes-Benz Atego.

Agriculture and Food Export: Fruit, Vegetables and Cotton

Uzbekistan exports large volumes of fresh and dried fruit and vegetables, such as cherries, apricots, grapes and melons. These come mainly from the Fergana Valley, Samarkand, Tashkent and Surkhandarya regions. Cotton is increasingly processed into textiles within the country. Exporting fresh produce over long distances requires refrigerated trucks that keep a stable temperature in both summer heat and winter cold. These sectors also need grain trucks, tippers and curtainsiders. We supply the chassis and have the right body built to your specifications.

Energy, Gas and Chemicals

Uzbekistan produces natural gas in the Bukhara and Kashkadarya regions and processes it in large gas chemical complexes. The country is also building large solar and wind farms. These projects need heavy tractor units for oversized loads, crane trucks, fuel and chemical tankers, and service vehicles for remote sites. Popular choices include the Mercedes-Benz Actros and Arocs and the MAN TGS in 6x4 and 6x6 configurations.

Mercedes-Benz, MAN, IVECO, Scania & More

Our range covers the leading European commercial vehicle brands:

  • Mercedes-Benz: the Actros, Arocs, Atego and off-road Zetros, known for their durability.
  • MAN: the TGX, TGS, TGM and TGL, with strong drivetrains for heavy work.
  • IVECO: the S-Way, X-Way, T-Way, Eurocargo and Daily, covering everything from light vans to heavy construction trucks.
  • Scania: a popular choice for long-distance transport.

Other brands are available on request. Uzbekistan drives on the right, and right-hand-drive vehicles generally cannot be registered, so European left-hand-drive trucks are the natural choice. Not sure which brand or model suits your operation best? We compare the options with you objectively, based on your application, budget and service requirements.

Configured and Built for Uzbek Conditions

Summer heat, winter frost, mountain passes, dust and long international routes put extra strain on any vehicle. We help you choose the right specifications, including:

  • a modern emission class that meets Uzbek environmental requirements;
  • sufficient engine power and a retarder or strong engine brake for the Kamchik Pass and other mountain routes;
  • an upgraded cooling system and air conditioning for summer, and cold-start equipment for winter;
  • heavy-duty air filtration for mines, building sites and desert roads;
  • the right axle configuration, suspension and tyres for your loads and routes.

Through our network of European bodybuilders, we can deliver tippers, tankers, refrigerated bodies, crane installations and other specialised builds. Your truck leaves Europe fully prepared for the job it has to do in Uzbekistan.
